CAUTION: Uttati's essential oils are very potent and should never be taken internally. Although essential oils are used in minute quantities, some individuals may experience allergic reactions to them. To test, apply a minute amount to the skin on the top of the hand between the thumb and the index finger or to the skin just below the elbow. In the event of an adverse reaction, apply vegetal oil such as canola or olive, then wash with cold water.

Due to the concentration and purity of the oils and blends, they are to be used sparingly. Less than a drop on the skin will provide a long lasting scent. For massage, a light effect is obtained with a concentration of 1 to 400 or 8 CC of essential oils to 96 ounces of carrier oil. For a therapeutic effect, the concentration is 1 to 100 or 8 CC to 24 ounces of carrier oil. Oils can be applied to the bottoms of the feet if a scented effect is not wanted.
